Two parts of MC Escher art work that illustrate the nature of mythc resonance:
1) Here we see figures of dark and light basically morphing into one another and out of one another, and moving in opposites directions. What may be apprehended here is the constant interplay between dark and light, good and evil, hot and cold, courage and fear, or any pair of opposites. This tells us something about the transcendent reality that defies the intellectual process of thinking about God. That the duality is actually the Unity, when we can see it whole. Courage and fear may be opposites but they describe different poles of one concept, namely a reaction of the psyche to phenomena. The poles can be changed. One can overcome fear by exercising courage. To face your fear is to overcome fear and exhibit courage.
2) An eye towards infinte expansion: The transcendent is big, real BIG. There are absolutely no limitations on it what-so-ever. It is capable of infinite expansion. Careful, the intellectual concept is a mind-blower!!!
